Roundtable No°7 | 2024: Status Quo - Developments and Current Challenges in Patient Monitoring

Note: The next roundtable will take place on November 28th under the title "Science or Science Fiction? – The Future of Patient Monitoring" at the ECDF (Einstein Center Digital Future). Intrigued? Register here!

One more thing that is very important to us: In order to improve the Patient Monitoring Roundtable, we are particularly dependent on your feedback. We would therefore be delighted if you can take 5 minutes to complete our survey. Thank you very much!

Patient monitoring has evolved from basic devices to indispensable, highly advanced systems that continuously measure vital parameters, analyze data in real time, and trigger alarms at deviations. These innovations were at the heart of our 7th Patient Monitoring Roundtable on October 15th, held at the Berlin Simulation and Training Center.

Science, Clinics, and Industry: Working Together for the Future of Patient Care!

Scientific research drives innovation, clinics test new technologies in practice, and industry ensures their safe, reliable implementation. Together, we are building a network that meets the needs of patients while optimally supporting healthcare professionals.

Workstation highlights from the participants’ perspective:

We thank all participants and our partners Dräger, Masimo, and Philips for their valuable contributions. A special thanks also to the Stiftung Charité and the Berlin Simulation and Training Center (BeST) for supporting this successful event. Together, we are shaping the future of healthcare – and we look forward to welcoming you to our next future-focused event on November 28, 2024, at the Einstein Center Digital Future (ECDF)!

The Patient Monitoring Roundtable is organized and conducted by INCH e.V. (Initiative for Innovation and Collaboration in Healthcare e.V.) in cooperation with the Institute for Medical Informatics at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
